  Mr.RAJAN DEB
A Wind Data Analysis GIS Expert

A young, energetic and enthusiastic Director of the firm who innovates and works rather single handedly, on GIS Applications for Wind Resource Mapping. A person whose GIS works in wind energy sector are unparalleled by any individual or institution except that some matching pieces are seen sometimes from few large scale international institutions.

His organisation CECL has many experts of Wind Energy working for providing technical support and consultancy. Many projects have been established and many have recovered from losses because of their contributions and expertise. Thus, this organization had set several examples of successful works of data analysis and recommendations for consultancy projects based on traditional methods earlier, until Mr. Rajan Deb took the task in hand to computerize the processes to ascertain improved efficieny and precision in analyses.

Mr. Rajan not only computerized the mathematical complex steps involved in wind data processing, but he converted the mapping related steps (which is but a necessary component of Wind energy computations) to GIS also quite effectively.

Introducing the GIS applications with quality, he also did create several outputs for direct use in the field integrating variety of information. What he innovatively managed to do more into the mechanical processes was a highly scientific and modern method of Wind Energy estimations using Meso-Mapping - a technique that only few would know and perhaps none would have exercised successfully in our country.

It was a small set up and big dreams. His exemplary works even drew the attention of big players in the International fora, who once feared his productions and approached for tie-ups of partnering, which he proudly refused on face to everyone's surprise.

Moving ahead with sucess, one after another, recently he hasalso completed a mega project of Wind Data analysis and site identification for wind masts installation in the seven states of North East India.

Mr. Rajan continues to innovate and apply techniques for best results in the most unpredictable discipline of wind energy estimations – that’s his expertise.
